Following the Taipei session, ARTERY Technology, in collaboration with AIDC, successfully held the “2025 ARTERY WORKSHOP – AT32 IDE & Work Bench Hands-on Training” in Taichung on August 21. The event focused on the industrial hub of central Taiwan and attracted developers from motor control, industrial automation, smart home appliances, and AIoT fields. With enthusiastic participation and active interaction, the workshop highlighted the industry’s strong interest in AT32 MCU solutions.
2025 ARTERY Summer Training in Taichung Concludes, Empowering AIoT with AT32 MCU
This training continued to focus on the AT32 IDE and Work Bench development tools, with hands-on practices carried out using the AT-START-F456 development board. Under the guidance of instructors, participants performed project creation, program download, debugging, and verification, quickly mastering key development processes. The course emphasized “learning by doing” and “interactive Q&A,” which not only enhanced participants’ practical skills but also made the discussions more closely aligned with real-world application scenarios.
The training course centered on the AT32F45x series MCUs, combining a “technical lecture + hands-on practice” dual-track model to help developers gain in-depth knowledge of the following application highlights:
1.Embedded solutions combining security and efficiency:
- TRNG (True Random Number Generator):Designed based on a physical noise source, compliant with NIST SP800-90B standards, providing stable and secure keys and initialization vectors (IV).
- AES Hardware Encryption/Decryption Module:Supports 128/192/256-bit keys and multiple encryption modes, integrated with DMA and interrupt control to significantly improve processing performance.
- CAN-FD High-Speed Communication Protocol:Compliant with ISO 11898-1:2015 standards, supporting up to 64-byte data frames, enhancing real-time communication in automotive and industrial control applications.
2.Enhanced development workflow:
- AT32 IDE Development Environment:Based on Eclipse framework, integrating GCC and GDB, offering quick project creation and automatic peripheral driver import.
- AT32 Work Bench Graphical Configuration Tool:User-friendly and installation-free, supporting pin configuration, module activation, and clock settings, enabling one-click code generation and seamless IDE integration.
In addition to hands-on practices, the event also introduced the new AT32F422/F426 series. Featuring “high performance and cost-effectiveness,” this series offers higher frequencies, larger memory capacities, and richer on-chip peripherals to precisely meet the needs of motor control, industrial automation, stage lighting, and in-vehicle entertainment. The new product session drew significant attention from participants, further showcasing the completeness and continuous innovation of the AT32 product line.
With the growing demand for AIoT and smart control, AT32 MCUs not only deliver high-performance computing but also enable secure communication and diverse applications. The successful conclusion of the Taichung session demonstrates ARTERY Technology’s commitment to bringing professional resources to developers across Taiwan, empowering them with practical skills. Moving forward, ARTERY will continue to organize localized training events, working hand-in-hand with the industry to accelerate the adoption of smart applications.
