The AT32F408 series is based on the high-performance ARM® Cortex®-M4 32-bit core operating at a frequency of up to 216 MHz.
This device features a single-precision floating-point unit (FPU), digital signal processor (DSP), up to 512 KB Flash memory,
and 192 KB SRAM. It also embeds a 26 KB system memory, which can serve as a Bootloader or be configured as one-time programmable user instruction and data memory.
The latter option extends the maximum available Flash memory space to 512+26 KB.
In addition, the device offers a rich choice of peripherals and advanced I/O ports. It incorporates independent HS USB OTG (including on-chip PHY)
, 1 x QSPI interface, 6 x USARTs, 2 x UARTs, 8 x SPI interfaces (supporting half-duplex I²S mode),
3 x I²C interfaces, 3 x 12-bit high-speed ADCs with sampling rates of up to 5.33 Msps, 1 x 16-bit advanced timer, 7 x 16-bit general-purpose timers, 1 x 32-bit general-purpose timer,
2 x 16-bit basic timers, 1 x low-power ERTC, and 1 x infrared transmitter. It also features the integrated sLib Security Library.
Almost all GPIOs are 5 V tolerant and support fast toggling capability, making the device suitable for a wide range of embedded control applications.
The AT32F408 operates over the industrial temperature range of -40 to 105 oC and is available in multiple package options, including LQFP64 and QFN48,
to meet diverse application requirements. With its built-in HS USB OTG interfaces, both including on-chip PHY, the AT32F408 delivers high-speed and reliable USB connectivity.
It is particularly suitable for applications such as USB accessories, industrial automation, Internet of Things (IoT), gaming peripherals, consumer electronics, and other high-speed USB applications.
